S K Somaiya College of Arts, Science and Commerce affiliated to the University of Mumbai conducts 02 programs under its aegis. These programs are conducted as per the ordinances and regulations laid down by the University of Mumbai.
The Governing Council members are eminent persons with wide exposure in the field of education and industry. All strategic decisions, having an impact on the growth and success of the institution are deliberated and decided by these members.
The College Development Committee has been constituted as per The Maharashtra Public Universities Act,2016. This committee acts as the liaison between the college staff and the management. The CDC plays an important role in placing before the management, suggestions and issues related to the teaching and non-teaching staff of the college.The Head of Institutions meeting with the management at regular intervals facilitates addressing specific issues related to administration and academics of all the institutions.The Principal of the college oversees the college academics and administration. The overall planning and functioning of the institute is under the supervision of the Principal. The Principal is assisted by the Vice Principal in dealing with the day to day academic and administrative responsibilities.
At the academic level the Head of departments are responsible and accountable for smooth and efficient conduct of activities of the departments.The Office incharge being the head of administration department manages all administrative activities of the institute. The finance/accounts officer is responsible towards maintaining proper accounting records of the college.
