The Bachelor of Arts programme at S.K Somaiya College is a degree that allows you to hone your analytical skills, think independently, and form and articulate judgements based on argument and evidence This BA programme brings the critical power of the humanities to investigate rapidly emerging technologies and contemporary practices. It also builds a spirit of enquiry which has also led us to collaborate across borders , and indeed the world, in research partnerships targeting complex issues. The S.K Somaiya College of Arts, Science and Commerce offers several specialisations in the BA programme wherein students have a vast choice of subjects to select from based on their area of interest . After graduation, a candidate will have opportunities to work in the government as Civil Administrators, IAS, Police Officers, or Civil Servants, or in the private sector as Content Writers, Copy Journalists, Human Resource Managers , Mental Health Professionals, Entrepreneurship and many other similar positions . The BA programme is spread over 6 semesters offering diverse subjects ,presenting innovative pedagogies leading to lucrative specialisations that will benefit students in fulfilling their learning potential and employability.

Pedagogy

Students learn in an environment that would enrich their minds for a holistic and multidimensional understanding of their field of interest. This is done by Classroom interaction which is an essential teaching technique which helps students to be competent enough to think critically. Audio and visual teaching methods make the classroom a lively theatre for learning.
