Any business's core is accounting, which evaluates and interprets the actual financial status of the enterprise. In today's technologically advanced and fiercely competitive real-world corporate environment, accounting has become crucial. Accounting is the process of gathering, documenting, analysing and sharing financial information. Accounting is a descriptive discipline, an information system and a service activity.
A wide range of subjects, including Financial Accounting, Cost Accounting, Management Accounting, Auditing and Direct and Indirect Tax at the undergraduate level, are thoroughly understood by students in the Department of Accountancy, which fosters an environment that is conducive to their academic development. Expertise in the aforementioned fields is well-known among the department's faculty. After graduating, a large number of students seek jobs with well-known corporations, including banks, non-banking financial institutions, manufacturing firms and service departments.
The Department of Accountancy is one of the oldest and largest department in the college, functioning successfully since the inception of the college. It consists of seven faculty members. The department is actively involved in teaching, co-curricular and research activities. The department boasts of excellent results at the T.Y.B.com University examination.
