Syllabus

The Psychology program at the College offers a comprehensive and progressive curriculum designed to provide students with a strong foundation in psychological principles and their real-world applications. Beginning with FYBA where we have adopted NEP and accordingly, students are introduced to core concepts through subjects like Introduction to Psychology, Learning and Memory, and essential life skills courses that enhance self-awareness, critical thinking, and research abilities.

In SYBA, the focus shifts to understanding human behavior in social contexts and developmental stages, with subjects such as Social Psychology and Developmental Psychology. These courses explore identity, relationships, and societal influences, fostering a deeper appreciation of psychological development across the lifespan.

At TYBA (6 paper), students delve into specialized fields like Psychological Testing, Abnormal Psychology, Cognitive Psychology, Industrial Psychology, and Counselling. Practical applications through experiments, assessments, and research further strengthen their analytical and problem-solving skills.

This structured approach ensures that students graduate with both theoretical knowledge and practical expertise, preparing them for higher education and diverse career opportunities in psychology and related fields.
